Terms and Conditions

PLEASE NOTE: Places will not be reserved until payment has been received in full.

Refund Policy

If a participant decides not to attend, they are entitled to a refund up to one week before the course starts, minus a 10% administration fee. If there is less than a week before the course begins or the course has started, no refund will be issued, as the place cannot be filled. Places are limited, therefore missed lessons cannot be reimbursed.

Health and Safety

Each class has a maximum of five dogs. Occasionally, classes may run with fewer than five dogs, depending on the type of course or other circumstances. If this is not the case, classes may be cancelled at short notice. Refunds will be offered, or participants will be placed on a waiting list for the next available class.

Sometimes, a group class may be too difficult for certain dogs. In such cases, an alternative training solution may be offered to better suit the dog’s needs. Should this occur, a full refund will be issued along with alternative training options.

Participants are responsible for their own health and safety, as well as the health and safety of their dogs and any accompanying individuals. All health and safety guidelines provided in class must be followed.

The use of aversive equipment, including but not limited to choke chains and slip leads, is not permitted. Aversive training methods are also prohibited. Dogs should not be taken off the lead unless specifically instructed to do so. Trainers’ instructions must always be followed, as safety considerations are in place. To prevent digestive issues, participants should be mindful of treat choices and must not feed other people’s dogs.

Photographs and Recorded Media

Photographs and video recordings may be taken during training sessions and used at Don’t Stop Retrievin’’s discretion for training or social media purposes. Permission will be requested before capturing images or recordings. Any media taken by Don’t Stop Retrievin’ remains its property. Participants are permitted to take their own photographs and recordings of their dog but must inform trainers and other handlers beforehand. Other handlers or dogs should not be recorded without permission.

Commitment to Clients

The relationship between trainer and client is a collaborative partnership. Don’t Stop Retrievin’ is committed to delivering high-quality training, being punctual, and communicating effectively. In return, participants are expected to practice assigned homework exercises to reinforce learning and to notify the trainer if they are unable to attend a session.
